About Bäckermann’s Country Market

“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands, establish Thou it.”

Bäckermann’s Country Market is a family owned and operated country market located in Whiteville, Tennessee on the scenic U.S. Highway 64 near the Fayette and Hardeman County line. We are part of the Christian Faith known as Mennonite and we hope to reflect the values of good honest hard work, integrity, family, church, and community in our business practices. Most of our baked goods are made in-house and many of our other products are made by friends of our faith in other communities.

Stop in for lunch at our Café or make it the destination of a short-day trip. Bäckermann’s Features a small café, bakery, and a large assortment of jar goods and bulk foods. We also sell wooden outdoor furniture made by our Amish friends and storage buildings made by our own family members.

We here at Bäckermann’s love having families come out and spend time with us. We have several large porches and a large assortment of outdoor and patio furniture where you can sit and visit with your friends. We have a hobby farm with domestic farm animals including a high-rise playground for the goats. There is a playground with an adjoining pavilion for families to enjoy. We also offer tractor and wagon rides. So bring your family and enjoy some time in the country!
